about me
I've been practicing meditation and martial arts most of my life, long enough that the two have become the same thing to me. Both are about presence, attention, and learning to work with what's actually happening rather than what you wish was happening.
I'm certified through Dharma Moon and Tibet House as a mindfulness meditation teacher. My martial arts coaching draws on Ecological Dynamics and the Constraints-Led Approach. Mostly I'm just someone who has practiced seriously for a long time and found ways to teach it that actually work.
I spent decades in performing arts management. That chapter informed how I think about people, performance, and what it takes to show up well under pressure.
